This truck bed was made from an old truck on my parents farm. My dad acquired it with a farm he bought in 1983, and we lovingly called it "old brownie" because of the brown paint. They drove the truck around until the clutch went out a few years later. Then it was retired to the bone pile. The place where old equipment went to die.
My parents decided to build a cabin last year, my mom showed me a picture of a truck bed and asked if I could build one for her. We went up to the bone pile and measured this truck and it would fit perfectly between the closet doors. So I went to work.
